Personality: Rio really is a little monkey, though she is a joy to have around! She cannot stay clean for two minutes, she is groomed in the morning, put out in the field and by dinner time she looks like a black filly. She is a sweetheart and means well, though she can be extremely mischievous and cause a little trouble. She is extremely inquisitive and love to explore and get herself into trouble. She may sometimes get on the other horses’ nerves but she is just too sweet to nip at. Rio loves to play with the other horses, but she does like to wander off on her own sometimes. She seems very easily amused and can entertain herself for hours. She has a good set of long, muscular legs and a long stride which just carry her around her field all day long. She runs with grace and ease. She enjoys being on the track and gets a little giddy when she is under saddle, though nothing nasty. Rio will make a fine racehorse without a doubt, she passion and talent will take her far.

Pedigree Comments: Rio is from a racing background. Both parents were accomplished racehorses, both rising to grade two and only one win away from grade one. Kiss The True Heart's sire is well known and accomplished racer True Enough, who has also been inducted into the hall of fame. Her dam, Kiss The Current, however was not a racer, but has proved to throw some lovely race horses. Rio's sire, Aces Diamond Rio, is unfortunately from unknown lines. However he did well in the racing field himself and has already bred one other foal who is proving to follow in his footsteps, hopefully Rio can do the same.

Racing Comments: Rio is eager to run. She is a quick breaker and settles behind the front runners. She remains in her position throughout the race, but her and her jockey fight to make sure she is not boxed in, therefore they can make their move when the time comes. Rio likes to make her move just before the front runners, so she can get around them on the home straight. She proceeds around the front horses and battles with the leader up to the finish line.
